Had an amazing midweek lunch here! The 2/3 course deal was fantastic value, and the service was warm & friendly despite it being very busy! The venue itself is stunning!
We stayed for one night dinner, bed and breakfast for our 50th Wedding Anniversary. Consequently we were upgraded to a Fabulous room on 2 levels, with the bathroom upstairs and another toilet downstairs behind the bed. Food is excellent and they highlight their suppliers all within 25 miles. On the list I spotted Tracklements, who produce my favourite chutneys and relished and they're were only a short drive away, so of course I visited and may have bought a few jars. Dinner was a 3 course event of delicious food. We slept well then made our way to breakfast, which unfortunately was also excellent but after last night's dinner we couldn't fully enjoy. Only reason for a 4 star mark is The Pig is so expensive.
the food was lovely. I had the ox tongue and my partner had the squash risotto. wandered around the gardens after our meal to see what they grow there, all very well maintained and lovely.
These places aren’t cheap but what you pay for is excellence!! The venue and service were superb! Special thanks to the front of house and a mention for Mel who served up not only an amazing selection of breakfast treats but also shared her knowledge of the house and gardens. We had a fabulous time. Plus you must try the Spa!! What a treat! Thanks to everyone at The Pig.
Very impressed with my stay. Cozy, warm, luxury- my bedding was Devine- I slept so so well! The food was seasonal and delicious, the staff were really friendly and helpful, and the spa was perfect. I particularly loved the outdoor fire and the full body massage was probably the best I’ve ever had!
We stayed at the Village Pub and came to the PIG both nights for dinner. The second night was unplanned, but the food was just so good the first night that we couldn’t help but come back. The staff were more than accommodating finding us a table even though we hadn’t booked. The food was absolutely delicious, excellent cocktails and lovely staff. We’re already researching our next trip to one of the PIG hotels.
We stayed at The Pig in the Cotswolds to celebrate our birthday and had a wonderful experience. The setting is beautiful and peaceful, with stunning decor throughout that feels stylish, cosy, and full of character. The whole place has a very relaxing atmosphere and is perfect for switching off. The spa was a real highlight — calm, well designed, and ideal for unwinding. The food was excellent, fresh, and seasonal, with breakfast being particularly outstanding. We also visited their village pub for a drink during our stay, which was a lovely touch and added to the relaxed, countryside feel. Overall, it was a special and indulgent stay, perfect for a celebration or a relaxing getaway. We loved it and would happily return.
My daughter, baby granddaughter and I visited the Pig Cotswolds today, with my daughter having a treatment in the Fieldhouse, followed by lunch for two in the restaurant. We chose the midweek set menu and everything we ordered was beautifully presented and tasted delicious. Steff and his staff were all lovely and looked after us throughout our visit, balancing perfectly making sure we had what we needed with leaving us to just enjoy our day, including accommodating our young baby visitor with her pram etc. We have visited/stayed at several Pig properties before and we left today feeling very relaxed with the usual 'feel good' feeling. Would recommend Pig at the Cotswolds if you fancy treating yourself.
